22 - Festival Time
[Private to Roy Mustang and Police Officers | Unhackable]

Duo and I caught the thief! Our second stakeout had been an success. I will write down the report and hand it over in the morning/afternoon, Sir! Followed by whatever report Maxwell comes up with!

[End Private]

Aaah! The flowers everywhere gives this place a whole new look on things. Especially the citizen out there in the city making it a more pleasant time. I almost completely forgot about home, but it's best that I not remember what's going on currently.

I wonder what else is out there in the city right now. Guess it wouldn't hurt to go out exploring the sites! Maybe I might even find a date.

Before I came back here we were in the middle of dealing with someone having another notebook. They asked the question about who was behind L. Since Sayu Yagami was already in captivity of this person, I went on instinct because I couldn't just let Yagami-san announce that his son was.

I...I stepped in and told him to tell the kidnapper that it was me. Aheheh, I was brought here without anymore information. Since now he has a name, he also has a face and he has a Death Note.

I see, tell me about these people who asked about me. The Kidnappers.

Also tell me about my successor is he living up to my name.

They know that the real L is dead. One goes by N and the other goes by Mello.

L . . . said it himself, that if anyone were to succeed him it would be Light.

Do you have any questions about how things work around here? Or are you good?

Yeah! It's a first really, I mean, there was decorations in the past but this is very big for them.

It used to not always be this lively. The people outside of the city didn't show any kind of emotions at all. Lately now they have been showing all sorts of feelings and actions. Pretty much they reverted back to being actual human beings. I don't have much of a theory for it, but all I can say it's pretty weird.

Maybe they just needed a reason to liven things up.

Maybe they just got sick of being mindless zombies. Or, perhaps some kind of alien life form had been doing some kind of test on them to test us? It's a little bit out there but it might make some sense for us. Considering at first they wouldn't answer to us, they still don't answer our questions about the building.

Hopefully the citizens of the city continue with their lives like this. It's a nice change.

Most people don't, but I guess it's hard to kick old habits. Besides, some of these things could actually be true.

I don't see why. The imagination's one of our most important qualities, and anyone that tells you different is just one of those poor souls that doesn't appreciate their own.

That's an interesting way of seeing it. One day everyone has to grow up. Just that some people never do.

I've found that growing up is an entirely relative concept that not everyone that talks about it completely understands.

[info]errandboimatsu

From my own understanding it's about finding who you are and being who you are. Not be someone that other people want. I just lived life the way I wanted to and I'm still doing that. Even if I'm not that useful for my job, but I at least proved that I could be already.

Sometimes emotions take over more then actual thought.
